Burnaby Mountain wedding photos | Danielle + Kurtis

If you know Danielle and Kurtis at all, you’d know that this was one wedding at which there would be So. Much. Fun. And it certainly was! These two have the most unique and wonderful circle of friends and family who have supported and encouraged them in their relationship and who were only too delighted to celebrate their special day with them.

While Kurtis and the gents got ready and his and Danielle’s place, the Bride and her lovely ladies got ready at her family home. It was sweet to see these beauties, including both Danielle’s mom Josie and Kurtis’s mom Kim, getting all glammed up together. And all of the ladies were so excited to see Danielle in her stunning gown.

A few times, Danielle’s mom Josie teared up a wee bit as the second of her two lovely daughters got ready to say I Do. We had a brief hiccup when it was discovered that the tulle straps on Danielle’s gown has stretched a bit, but Josie and I each grabbed a needle and thread and stitched up the straps – and soon the Bride was ready to see her Groom!

The bridal party met up on Burnaby Mountain for the First Look and portraits and though it looked like it might rain, we never did need those clear umbrellas (whew!). Both Danielle and Kurtis had written love letters for one another, which they each read and which made Danielle shed a few happy tears. So touching.

Then we were off to New Westminster’s Glenbrook Amenities Centre for the ceremony and reception, which were among the most fun-filled ceremonies and receptions I think I’ve ever attended! The officiant was amazing…he had everyone laughing almost the whole time and yet the ceremony was still very meaningful and heartfelt. And right from the moment the reception began, everyone was ready to kick up their heels and celebrate the newlyweds.

Kurt and Danielle, it was an absolute joy to share your day with you!

The bride’s stunning sister Gina…

This is one of my faves from the day…so gorgeous.

Danielle and her dad Don had a little something up their sleeves for the Father-Daughter dance.
